Hello, I’m Sasha. I’m Malaysian by birth and belong to the Chinese diaspora of the country’s unique cultural diversity. I now reside in the enchanting city of Prague, Czech Republic, where rich history, vibrant culture, and scenic architecture surround me. 

I’m a self-taught illustrator and lettering artist with a passion for capturing the vivid grit and raw energy of culinary life, while celebrating the unsung heroes of this vibrant industry. My work aims to honor the dedication, creativity, and resilience that define the world of food and cooking, bringing to life the stories that often go untold.

After 14 years of fast-paced kitchen life in Singapore, I decided to move to the other side of the world after falling in love with the assertive yet gentle beauty of the Czech Republic upon visiting it years before. 

That’s when I traded heat and hustle for ink and canvas—transforming the intensity, humor, and artistry of the culinary world into bold, striking illustrations. Whether it’s the rhythm of service, the chaos of daily kitchen grind, or the unspoken camaraderie of chefs, my work is a tribute to those who live and breathe cooking.
